Visual Techniques is
a family owned business that specializes in Audio-Visual
Communications. Our company was founded in 1981 and Wylie McMahon
purchased Visual Techniques in 1983.
In the early 1990’s
Wylie’s wife, Jeannine, became more involved with the company with
building computers, networking and creating a website for the company. They soon hired a
service technician from ESC VII to repair equipment such as overhead
projectors, cassette recorders, slide projectors, record players and
laminators. Today the majority of the repair we do is on
laminators, data projectors and document cameras. Visual Techniques
now has many different types of equipment, but the same Service Manager,
Joe Bruner.
In 2001 Wylie and
Jeannine's son, Jimmy Paul McMahon, started working for Visual Techniques as
an outside sales representative while Wylie continued to run the company. Soon, Wylie
realized that they needed to switch positions. Jimmy Paul now owns and
runs the family business and Wylie is the Sales Manager. Visual
Techniques now has 5 sales representatives in Texas from
Texarkana to Victoria.
Jimmy's vision for the
company involves a total package for schools. He wants to be able
to provide everything from a classroom ceiling mounted projector with
document camera and sound to
Cafetorium or Boardroom
custom audio visual installations. We employ quality
installers that take pride in their work.
Our company is
focused on Customer Service and we provide the most effective
training on all of our products.
Visual Techniques
has always tried to stay one step ahead of what schools require to give
students the best education possible. Some of our products include:
Document Cameras, Projectors, Screens, AV & Computer Carts,
Laminating Film, P/A Systems, Interactive Boards and Tablets,
Photo ID Systems,
and much more.
