Eno is both a standard whiteboard and interactive board. To use the board as a standard wipe board, the user writes with dry marker pens and wipes it clean with the board eraser, which is magnetic so can be stored on the board surface. To use it as an interactive whiteboard with a computer and projector, the user needs only to load a driver onto their computer so the digital pen can ‘talk’ to it via Bluetooth. Their technology uses a patented pattern of dots to provide a map of the surface with each dot marking a specific point. A camera in the pen reads the dots as it writes and feeds the information to the computer. |

To use each feature, the user touches the appropriate icon with the pen, which recognizes the unique dots printed on the icon strip. Being able to use dry markers, magnets, and, go interactive with a projector should give it strong appeal in education and perhaps even in corporate training and meeting rooms. |

There is a lifetime warranty on the ceramic steel surface, a ten year warranty on the whiteboard (the trims, mounts etc) and two-years on the other components. PolyVision has also allowed for multiple Eno boards to be used in a single room by producing several different dot patterns used (each with a unique code). |
